Everything you need to know about working together on your content and visuals.
Working with someone new can feel like a lot of unknowns. Here are honest answers to the questions I’m asked most about images, video, timelines, and how we’ll actually work together.
If you don’t see your question here, just message me and ask.
Any existing assets you have (photos, clips, logos, brand files)
A short outline of your goals (more bookings, more sales, better feed, etc.)
I’ll guide you through a simple intake form so you’re not staring at a blank page. If you prefer, you can keep it really light: we jump on a call, you show me what you’ve got, and I take it from there.
2. Video Production
Do I need to be on camera for videos?
No, you don’t have to be on camera.
We can create effective videos using:
Product shots and close-ups
Hands-on demos or simple overhead shots
Screen captures or b-roll
Voiceover or text-led formats
If you do want to appear, I’ll give you very simple recording tips and short scripts so it doesn’t feel awkward or complicated.
3. Brand Identity
Can you match my brand style if I don’t have a brand guide?
Yes.
If you don’t have a formal brand guide, we’ll build from what you already like. You can send:
A few examples of brands or posts you like
Any colours, fonts, or moods you’re drawn to
Your logo files (if you have them)
From there, I’ll define a clear visual direction and keep fonts, colours, and composition consistent across your images, videos, and posts so everything feels “on brand”.
4. Revisions & Refinements
How many revisions are included?
Most projects include 1–2 rounds of refinements per deliverable, depending on your package.
Usually we get things right (or very close) on the first pass. If we ever need a bigger change in direction, I’ll explain why, what’s involved, and agree a clear plan with you before doing extra work.
5. Timeline & Delivery
What's the usual turnaround time?
Typical timelines are:
Image Sets
2–5 business days (volume-based)
Short‑form video packs
3–7 business days (pack size)
Monthly Social calendars
5–7 business days for the first month
*If you have a fixed deadline (launch, event, campaign), tell me up front and I’ll confirm what’s realistic before we start.
6. Ownership & Rights
Do I own the final content?
Yes.
Once your project is complete and paid for, you have full usage rights to the final approved images and videos. You can use them across your website, socials, and ads as needed.
(If there’s ever a special case—e.g. you need exclusive rights for a specific campaign—we’ll always agree that in writing first.)
7. Publishing & Scheduling
Can you schedule posts for me, or can I post myself?
Both options work:
Option 1 – I schedule for you With access to your social accounts, I can schedule posts directly based on our agreed calendar.
Option 2 – You handle posting I supply neatly packaged files, captions, hashtags, and suggested posting times so you (or your team) can post with minimal effort.
We’ll choose the option that best fits how you work.
8. Quality & Low-Quality Assets
What if my photos or footage are low quality—can you improve them?
Often, yes.
I can:
Improve lighting, colour, and sharpness
Remove distractions and clean up backgrounds
Reframe and crop to make things feel more premium
If the starting material really isn’t usable, I’ll be honest about that and suggest simple ways to re-shoot (even with your phone) so we can get better results.
You’re welcome to send a few sample images or clips before we start—I’ll tell you what’s realistic.
9. Something Else?
Q: What if my project doesn’t fit neatly into these boxes?
That’s fine. If your idea involves visuals, short video, or content, I’m open to hearing it. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll say so and, where I can, point you in the right direction.
